CDC Releases App for Emergency Responders for Blast Injuries

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has launched a clinical app for healthcare providers dealing with terrorist bombings and other mass casualty explosive events.

The app provides healthcare providers clinical guidance and recommendations during an emergency, such as information on treating special populations (i.e. pregnant women and children), managing hospital surge capacity, blast injury patterns and potential treatments and personal safety information.
