CareClix deploys telemedicine units in Maryland schools

CareClix Telemedicine is extending its EMR and telemedicine services to several public schools in Howard County, Md.

The CareClix e-Clinic Telemedicine Stations will be housed in local elementary schools where physicians at local hospitals can provide remote care for students, such as evaluating students, providing diagnoses and order labs and prescriptions.

Students' parents may also join the virtual exam room to be present for their child's consultation.
