Blockchain job market dips 53%

The share of blockchain and cryptocurrency job searches per millions decreased 53 percent between September 2018 and September 2019, according to a report from Indeed cited by Forbes.

Here are three things to know:

1. Between September 2015 and September 2019, the number of cryptocurrency jobs skyrocketed 1,457 percent. However, after the crash of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, there has been a decline in the number of job opportunities.

2. Software engineers, software architects, full stack developers and front-end developers are the most sought-after employees for the blockchain industry.

3. Companies that are most actively seeking blockchain talent include Deloitte, IBM, Accenture and Cisco.
