Needham, Mass.-based BBK Worldwide has launched two new apps geared toward patient and site engagement for participants in clinical trials, according to a news release.
The My Clinical Study Buddy app helps keep patients engaged and involved throughout the study by reminding them of appointments and visit details, providing maps and offering resources and videos relating to their study.
My Clinical Study Buddy Protocol Pointers Edition is targeted toward study sites and patient recruitment specialists to help bolster study recruitment efforts.
"As the industry continues to leverage technology and reap the rewards inherent in a digital ecosystem, mobile solutions will help pharma drive efficiencies and stay competitive, while remaining focused on the end-goal; delivering better, safer therapies to market as quickly and cost-effectively as possible," said Matthew Stumm, principal, creative and media strategy of BBK, in the news release.
