Atrius Health deploys patient-provider matching software from Kyruus

Newton, Mass.-based Atrius Health is implementing new software to enhance its providers' online profiles to improve patient matching and online scheduling, according to a Feb. 12 announcement.

Atrius Health has tapped Kyruus, a health IT startup that recently received funding from Providence Ventures and counts the Renton, Wash.-based health system and Uber Health among its partners, to deploy the KyruusOne provider data management platform for improved patient access.

The platform identifies synonyms and more consumer-friendly terms for physicians' specialties and areas of focus to make it easier for patients to search for and find an appropriate provider.

"At Atrius Health, we're committed to streamlining access to care and helping consumers find the right providers for their needs," Marci Sindell, Atrius' chief marketing officer and senior vice president of external affairs, said in the announcement. "Convenience of both the care itself and the access experience are at the heart of our digital front door initiatives, and we're excited to work with Kyruus to improve how we manage and enhance access to our provider network."
