Charlotte, N.C.-based Atrium Health has partnered with Babyscripts to offer its patients access to the Washington, D.C.-based virtual care company's pregnancy management app.
Atrium patients will now have access to the Babyscripts app throughout their entire pregnancy and postpartum period. The app provides educational materials about pregnancy and baby development, access to maternity classes and information about Atrium's offerings. The Babyscripts platform can also give users direct access to their clinical teams, as well as obstetrician-approved nutritional, medical and lifestyle action items to complete.
"Our goal at Atrium Health is to provide our patients with the best care when and where they need it," said Suzanna Fox, MD, Atrium's senior medical director of the women's service line and deputy chief physician executive. "By providing mothers-to-be with additional resources, it furthers our commitment to provide access to care in a way that is most convenient for them."
