Twenty-one innovators have been selected to participate in the Aspen Institute's Health Innovators Fellowship that seeks to strengthen their leadership in the healthcare ecosystem.
The innovators represent the gamut of the healthcare industry, from medicine to public health to payers to genomics and beyond. Over two years, the selected fellows will spend four weeks developing leadership skills, core values, shaping legacies and defining their vision for the healthcare system. Additionally, each fellow commits to launching a leadership venture to positively change healthcare in the U.S.
"The Fellows bring a diverse set of life experiences and skills to their work; we're thrilled to be able to give them a platform from which they can harness their energy and expertise to tackle our nation's most pressing healthcare challenges," said Rima Cohen, managing director of the Health Innovators Fellowship, in a statement.
