Gagan Singh, CIO and senior vice president of Ascension, said the health system is building out a new mobile-first approach for its patients in order to enhance their digital experience, BuiltInChicago reported Dec. 8.
The new app will allow patients to get a comprehensive view of their entire interaction with the St. Louis-based health system via their mobile phones.
In addition, Mr. Singh said patients will also be able to schedule appointments; view clinical data, vitals and test reports; connect with care teams; and access a simplified billing and payment system all via their phones.
