The former CIO of Facebook has been named to the same position at Apple, Bloomberg reported.
Timothy Campos will lead the information systems and technology department at the tech giant, people familiar with the matter told the news outlet Nov. 9. He will replace Mary Demby, who is retiring at the end of the year after three decades at the company, and report to CFO Luca Maestri.
Mr. Campos was CIO of Facebook (now Meta) from 2010 to 2016 and semiconductor maker KLA Corp. from 2005 to 2009, according to his LinkedIn profile. He was most recently the corporate director of Ultimate Kronos Group. He also co-founded Woven, a calendar app that was bought by Slack.
