After shutting down its entire retail presence in China amid the novel coronavirus outbreak, Apple has reopened all but four of its 42 stores in mainland China, CNBC reports.
Three of the tech giant's stores in the northwestern China city of Tianjin and another in Suzhou, located west of Shanghai, are still closed. An Apple spokesperson declined to share with CNBC the reasoning behind the continued closures.
After temporarily shutting down all stores in the region in early February, Apple slowly began reopening the stores, with at least 29 back up and running by the end of February. However, operating hours at some of the 38 currently open locations reportedly remain limited.
