Apple acquires startup focused on monitoring asthma in children

Apple has purchased Tueo Health, a startup that has been developing an app that monitors children with asthma, for an undisclosed amount, CNBC reports.

It is unclear when Apple completed the acquisition; however, it is suspected Apple picked up Tueo Health in late 2018 when Tueo Health's CEO and COO changed their employer to Apple on LinkedIn, according to CNBC.

Tueo Health was working on an app that used commercial breathing sensors to track asthma symptoms in children. The app would alert parents if their child's breathing altered at night.
