In collaboration with middle market private equity firm GI Partners, Allscripts has signed a definitive agreement to acquire health and human services software and technology solutions company Netsmart.
After the completion of the acquisition, Allscripts' homecare software business unit will be merged with Netsmart. The acquisition is slated for completion in April.
