Hospitals are increasingly using and relying on IT and digital systems, necessitating a need for heightened cybersecurity plans and protocols.
The new resources offer AHA members questions boards should ask hospital leaders regarding cybersecurity, such as whether the hospital has a comprehensive cybersecurity plan and what type of incident requires board notification.
