HIMSS Analytics has recognized six hospitals that have reached stage 6 on its Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model.
The six hospitals include:
Children's Hospital Colorado (Aurora)
Hurley Medical Center (Flint Township, Mich.)
Tradition Medical Center (Port St. Lucie, Fla.)
Springhill Medical Center (Mobile, Ala.)
Amery (Wisc.) Regional Medical Center
Knox Community Hospital (Mt. Vernon, Ohio)
Since 2005, HIMSS Analytics' EMR Adoption Model has tracked electronic medical record adoption in hospitals and health systems throughout the country. To date, 729 hospitals have reached the penultimate stage 6.
