The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were announced within the past two weeks.
1. Asquam Community Health Collaborative, a newly formed limited liability corporation, selected Cerner to provide its EHR.
2. Philadelphia-based Temple University Health system entered a seven-year contract with Fairfield, Conn.-based General Electric that guarantees to save the health care department $39 million.
3. Irvine, Calif.-based St. Joseph Health plans to implement MEDITECH's Business and Clinical Analytics solution across its network to monitor and evaluate overall performance.
4. Mercy Family Clinic New Hampton (Iowa) plans to go live on Cerner's EHR and patient portal Sept. 21.
5. Phoenix-based Banner Health announced plans to drop Epic's EHR system at its two Tucson hospitals and will replace the system with Cerner's platform.
