1. The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust in England went live on an Allscripts EHR after selecting the system two years ago in late 2016, the EHR vendor confirmed May 23.
2. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs finalized its contract with Cerner May 17 and will award the EHR vendor $10 billion over the next 10 years.
3. Columbus (N.C.) Regional Healthcare System will deploy Cerner's Millennium EHR and revenue cycle solutions, the EHR vendor confirmed May 21.
4. Apollo Hospitals in Chennai, India will adopt two of IBM's cognitive platforms — Watson for Oncology and Watson for Genomics — across 10 of its 64 hospitals, IBM confirmed May 22.
5. The American Academy of Pediatrics added SnapMD's virtual care management platform to its AAP Member Advantage Program, the telehealth provider confirmed May 22.
