The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were announced within the past week.
- Deerfield, Ill.-based Walgreens will transition Epic’s EHR.
- IASIS Healthcare, a Franklin, Tenn.-based owner and operator of acute care hospitals, selected Cerner's EHR and revenue cycle management system for implementation across its provider operations.
- Kremmling, Colo.-based Middle Park Medical Center selected Epic's EHR.
- Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, based in San Antonio, selected a service from Tenable Network Security to improve its IT security program and HIPAA compliance.
- Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna, Alaska, selected Epic's EHR after receiving bids from Epic, Cerner and MEDITECH.
