Five hospitals have joined West Virginia Health Information Network, a statewide health information exchange, according to a report in The State Journal.
The new HIE members include Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston, Grafton (W.Va.) City Hospital and St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, according to the report.
The HIE now has nine member hospitals, according to the report.
