The U.S. government is constantly awarding new contracts to maintain and innovate its massive health IT apparatus.
Here are four recent health IT contracting awards:
- General Dynamics has been awarded a five-year, $110 million contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide IT and service desk support to the VA.
- ServiceNow has been awarded a five-year, $250 million IT maintenance contract from the Department of Health and Human Services. IT government contractor Carahsoft is a partner in the contract.
- Seventeen companies were awarded a five-year, $650 million contract from the VA. The companies will compete to fulfill VA IT task orders.
- Maximus was awarded a 10-year, $6.6 billion contract from CMS to support CMS' contact centers.
