3M Health Information Systems has added 3M 360 Encompass System – Professional, an encounter-based professional fee coding solution, to its 3M 360 Encompass System platform.
Here are three things to know about the solution.
1. The new software brings the power of 3M's computer-assisted coding, physician query capability and reporting to coding and billing for physician services, according to a news release.
2. 3M 360 Professional allows coders to work from one technology platform.
3. The University of New Mexico Hospitals, a five-hospital system based in Albuquerque, is piloting the new 3M 360 Professional software.
