The following partnerships were announced in the past month:
Cleveland Clinic and Healthspot
Cleveland Clinic entered into a partnership with health IT firm HealthSpot to offer telemedicine kiosks in a variety of nontraditional locations, expanding access to care.
Children's Specialized Hospital and VGo
Mountainside, N.J.-based Children's Specialized Hospital implemented the use of a VGo robot that allows physicians to interact with patients with special needs and complex medical conditions 24 hours a day, even when the physicians are away from the hospital.
Allegheny Health Network and DermatologistOnCall
Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network partnered with DermatologistOnCall to provide remote dermatology consults. Patients can now meet with a dermatologist virtually and receive a diagnosis and treatment plan in less than three days.
