Personal genetics company 23andMe raised $115 million in its latest round of financing led by Fidelity Management & Research Company.
23andMe offers genetic tests for individuals to access their genome. The latest round of investments will help the company expand operations in the United States and around the globe in addition to providing capital for new laboratory space.
New investors joining the latest round include Casdin Capital, WuXi Healthcare Ventures and Xfund. Existing investors include Illumina, New Enterprise Associates, MPM Capital and Google Ventures.
