Digital health startups raised a collective $9.5 billion in 2018, a 32 percent increase from 2017's record-breaking $7.2 billion, according to a report by market research firm Mercom Capital Group.
For the report, Mercom Capital Group reviewed the 698 digital health funding deals that took place last year. During 2018, a total of 1,396 investors — including private equity and corporate venture capital firms — participated in digital health funding, up from 1,288 investors in 2017.
