13 value-based solutions, partnerships unveiled at HIMSS

Here are 13 value-based solutions or partnerships launched at the 2018 Healthcare Information Management Systems Society Conference in Las Vegas.

1. WebPT teamed up with Modernizing Medicine to build an interface between the WebPT EMR and EMA, the ortho-specific EHR system in Modernizing Medicine's Orthopedics suite, allowing users to share data throughout an episode of care.

2. DXC Technology launched its DXC Open Health Connect, a digital health platform integrating disparate data and offering analytics support in an effort to improve outcomes.

3. GE Healthcare subsidiary Caradigm developed Visual Analytics built on Power BI. The solution aims to help healthcare administrators use data by developing dashboards to review "What if?" scenarios and potential effects on outcomes.

4. Pieces Technologies and NTT DATA Services launched a joint readmissions solution incorporating medical, physical and social determinants of health data to calculate a readmission risk score. The real-time data is presented within 24 hours of admission.

5. CitiusTech unveiled its SCORE+ suite for clinically integrated networks, with modules to lower contract risk, gaps-in-care workflow management and care coordination, in addition to reporting capabilities for clinical, financial and key performance indicators.

6. ODH will lead Hashed Health's value-based care working group, formed to accelerate healthcare's transition to value-based care through the adoption of blockchain solutions.

7. VirtualHealth partnered with Community Care of North Carolina for a new care management platform for CCNC's 1.7 million Medicaid members and additional Medicare Advantage enrollees. The platform will include case and disease management tools and real-time analytics.

8. Information Builders launched the Care Insights app and Omni-HealthData 3.0 platform. Care Insights provides healthcare administrators metrics through an executive dashboard, data visualizations on population management, provider performance and quality performance. Omni-HealthData 3.0 is a single platform for managing apps like Care Insights.

9. Cota revealed the third version of its web-based Cota Real World Analytics solution, which helps oncology practices identify optimal processes, treatments and outcomes through analytics.

10. VirtualHealth and SAS collaborated on a "whole person care" initiative integrating clinical workflows with predictive analytics in an effort to improve outcomes and reduce costs for government agencies.

11. Payformance Solutions launched its TrustHub software as a service solution, which aims to give third-party assistance during payer and provider value-based reimbursement negotiations.

12. LexisNexis Risk Solutions released its Socioeconomic Health Score, which helps providers predict hospital readmission risk.

13. Innovaccer revamped its Datashop product with the launch of InData, a healthcare data platform using metrics to help providers better understand patient populations.
