1. Cuero (Texas) Regional Hospital partnered with Access Physicians, a physician group that offers multispecialty services via telemedicine, to provide its patients with remote cardiology services.
2. Summit Healthcare, a Show Low, Ariz.-based hospital that recently went live on an Allscripts Sunrise EHR, decided to implement the EHR vendor's precision medicine platform 2bPrecise.
3. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs opted to scrap its scheduling software project with Epic and switch to a service from Cerner.
4. Crescent Medical Center Lancaster (Texas) joined forces with DocTalkGo, a nationwide telemedicine healthcare provider.
5. Laurinburg, N.C.-based Scotland Health Care System plans to go live on a new Epic EHR.
6. Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare entered into a collaboration with Israeli analytics company MDClone to increase clinicians' access to actionable data.
7. Boys Town (Neb.) National Research Hospital plans to implement Expanse, a web-based EHR from Meditech.
8. Texas Children's Hospital in Houston expanded its use of Omnicell's automated medication management platform.
9. Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health made a new patient engagement tool from PatientWisdom available to all patients via its MyChart patient portal.
10. NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City partnered with health technology company Philips to add remote patient monitoring to its telehealth capabilities.
11. West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital in Sulphur, La., plans to implement Wellsoft's EDIS, an emergency department information system.
