The following health IT vendor contracts were announced in the past week.
1. Aurora-based University of Colorado Health selected Zix Email Encryption to provide secure email communication across the organization as well as with its partners and patients.
2. Plainsboro, N.J.-based Princeton HealthCare System contracted with Premier to use its group purchasing power and performance improvement services.
3. Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio, chose Insyte's Medication Logistics to manage medication inventory and help reduce related supply chain costs.
4. Winchester, Va.-based Valley Health selected Net Health's Agility Software's occupational medicine EHR to provide the necessary functionality for urgent care centers that also provide occupational medicine services.
5. Shreveport, La.-based Willis-Knighton Health System selected InteliChart's patient portal to help demonstrate meaningful use and provide patients access to their records.
6. Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., contracted with GroupOne Health source to implement its medical billing and revenue cycle management platform and EHR implementation services.
7. Great Neck, N.Y.-based North Shore-LIJ Health System chose PPM 2000's perspective incident management software as its dispatching, incident reporting and case management platform.
8. Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C., selected Tonic Health's data collection and management platform.
9. Dorminy Medical Center Physician's Group in Fitzgerald, Ga., and Irwin County Hospital Physician Physician Offices in Tifton, Ga., both selected Azalea Health's Azalea EHR and Azalea Revenue Cycle Management solutions.
10. Cooperstown, N.Y.-based Bassett Healthcare Network selected Strata Decision Technology' StrataJazz platform for financial planning.
