TruLite Health Partners with Parkview Health to Address Health Equity

TruLite Health announced today that they have partnered with a leading healthcare organization to help address health equity with an innovative platform that focuses on clinical interventions at the point of care.

Tempe, AZ-- According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), health equity is the attainment of the highest level of health for all people, where everyone has a fair and just opportunity to attain their optimal health regardless of race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, geography, preferred language, or other factors that affect access to care and health outcomes. Health equity has become a growing priority for healthcare leaders, and TruLite’s platform aims to serve as a model for improving patient outcomes and reducing the overall cost of care.

In partnership with the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation, TruLite is deploying Truity™, a health equity platform that is a clinically integrated workflow tool to provide multi-level interventions and addresses the unique needs of patients at the point of care. The organizations will validate the platform’s impact on frequent health equity challenges for caregivers.

“The large number of clinical science issues resulting in suboptimal healthcare delivery for diverse populations must be addressed,” said Alan Roga, MD, and CEO of TruLite. “Our unique technology and the industry’s largest actionable health equity database will deliver the right information and recommendations to both the provider and patient within the visit workflow so they can personalize the care plan in that moment to best address the patient’s needs.”

The Parkview Mirro Center is well-known for its active engagement with emerging healthcare technology companies that address complex healthcare challenges. In addition to supporting the platform’s design, the Mirro Center will assist TruLite in the optimization of the patient and provider experience through its highly regarded Innovation Team and User Experience (UX) Lab. UX projects are uniquely designed to drive provider engagement and patient empowerment, which are critical barriers to addressing inequities in healthcare.

“We are excited to partner with TruLite and provide a clinical solution that helps us address health inequities,” said Sarah GiaQuinta, Senior Vice President of Community Health and Equity, Parkview Health. “Health equity is a complex issue, and we realize that we need to take a multipronged approach to create sustainable impact. The Truity platform is the first tool we have that leverages both science and clinical research to positively impact equity.”
