ZirMed, which offers an end-to-end platform of cloud-based revenue cycle management solutions, expanded its charge integrity solution to improve health system reimbursement.
Here are three things to know.
1. The expanded solution pairs data-mining algorithms and coding guidelines "to automatically analyze the unique charging practices of each hospital, health system and their employed physicians," according to a news release.
2. Ultimately, the expanded solution aims to help health systems prevent revenue leakage from missing charges, and prevent diagnosis-related group anomalies that can result in compliance audits and denials, ZirMed said.
3. ZirMed will provide a demonstration of its expanded solution at HIMSS booth #4871.
