Texas Children's Hospital North Austin Campus closed its urgent care center in August, a spokesperson for Houston-based Texas Children's Hospital confirmed with Becker's.
The $485 million, 365,000-square-foot freestanding hospital opened in February.
Texas Children's has another open urgent care location in Austin that has expanded family access and added 20 hours to its weekly availability, the spokesperson said.
News of the urgent care closure comes after Texas Children's Pediatrics Round Rock also closed Sept. 20. Following the closure, Texas Children's encouraged people to seek care at its Texas Children's Pediatrics North Austin Campus.
