University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington is planning a $150 million construction and renovation project, according to a Lexington Herald-Leader report.
The project includes completing the last two floors of its existing 12-story patient care tower. It will include the addition of six additional elevators, a new 30,000-square-foot kitchen-cafeteria, a 7,000-square-foot radiology suite and a hyperbaric wound center.
The hospital also plans on renovating the 30,000-square-foot existing neonatal intensive care unit in the children's hospital.
All the projects are slated to be completed by 2017.
