UnitedHealthcare Grants $20M to Critical Access Hospitals for EHRs

Health insurer UnitedHealthcare recently provided $20 million in financing to 11 critical access hospitals in California to implement electronic health records and other health IT measures.


The funds were part of UnitedHealthcare's California Health Care Investment Program, which is a 20-year, $200 million initiative to rural healthcare in the state.
