Thibodaux (La.) Regional Medical Center is constructing a $62 million wellness center, according to a Houma Today report.
The 230,000-square-foot center will aim to improve the health and well-being of patients and the general public. It will include an imaging center, neurosciences center, cardiac rehabilitation as well as space for physical, occupational and speech therapy. It will also include an education center that will offer nutrition and weight management services.
Construction is slated to be complete by January 2016, according to the report.
