El Paso (Texas) Specialty Hospital will close at the end of the year, according to KFOX.
The hospital is physician-owned and governed by Surgical Partners.
"El Paso Specialty Hospital has made the difficult but necessary decision to close the facility at the end of the year due to growing financial and operational challenges," the hospital stated in a news release. "We are very grateful to our dedicated staff members who have been so devoted to caring for our patients and are doing everything we can to support employees during this transition, including providing severance packages."
