Citizens Medical Center in Victoria, Texas, partnered with AccessOne, a Fort Mill, S.C.-based provider of patient financing options.
Through the partnership, AccessOne will provide opt-in financing plans to patients of the 338-bed medical center.
"Our hospital is known for compassionate patient care, and we're excited to add customized, compassionate financing to the mix," said Melvin Jones, director of patient financial services at Citizens, in a news release. "We're growing quickly, and AccessOne is the perfect partner to ensure that all of our patients — from those with needs ranging from chronic to urgent care — can get the care that they need, when they need it."
Overall, the ultimate goal with the partnership is to improve patient financial engagement.
