SurgiCode, a provider of cloud-based software services for matching standard medical terminology and procedures to diagnosis and procedural billing codes, launched a new ICD-10 Procedure Coding System search system called SurgiCode PCS.
With the launch, medical coders and billers may now access and beta test the ICD-10 PCS search program, according to a news release.
SurgiCode said the goal with SurgiCode PCS is for users to simply type in the name of the operation directly from a surgeon's operative report and receive the correct ICD-10 PCS code.
