St. Luke's Boise Medical Center seeks approval for expansion

St. Luke's Boise (Idaho) Medical Center has submitted its plan for a $300 million to $400 million dollar expansion plan, according to an Idaho Statesman report.

The plan includes a new pediatric facility, a children's hospital expansion, a new central plan, remodeling of the current hospital and a new roundabout to direct traffic.

The massive project will be financed through bonds, cash and donations and will occur in phases over several decades.

Having submitted the final plan to the city, the approval process will begin with several public hearings before the Boise Planning and Zoning Commission and the Ada County Highway District, according to the report.
