Splitit is partnering with DOCPAY, a U.S. financial service company focusing on healthcare payments.
Here are three things to know about the partnership.
1. Splitit, an interest-free financing solution offered on patients' existing credit cards (Visa and MasterCard), will now be available to over 50,000 patients in the DOCPAY network.
2. Splitit Healthcare will be available across DOCPAY's entire network including dental practices, LASIK surgeons, cosmetic surgeons, obstetricians, med spas, family practice and other physicians. According to a news release, patients can use the financing solution to choose monthly payment installments on their existing credit cards.
3. Splitit said the partnership overall is aimed at helping patients easily and affordably manage their medical costs while simplifying the billing process for medical and dental practices.
