Valdosta-based South Georgia Medical Center has named Olaf Faeskorn vice president of revenue cycle.
Mr. Faeskorn will oversee the health system's revenue cycle operations, according to an Oct. 7 news release. He will provide leadership, oversight and direction to departments relating to patient access and financial services.
He joins South Georgia Medical Center from Cambridge, Mass.-based Beth Israel Lahey Health, where he served as executive director of health information management, coding, clinical documentation integrity and utilization review, according to his LinkedIn page.
