Sonoma (Calif.) Valley Hospital, a 75-bed district facility, chose health IT solutions provider ezDI for various tools aimed at revenue cycle management improvement.
The hospital will specifically implement ezDI's computer-assisted coding application ezCAC, including ezEncoder, as well as coding compliance and analytics tools, according to a news release.
Representatives with ezDI said in the release the goal of ezCAC is to help the hospital "economically streamline and optimize the entire coding and mid-revenue cycle workflow." They said the goal of the application is also to help make collaboration between physicians, health information management staff and coders more efficient.
