Somnia Anesthesia has named Diana Allen, MHA, its new vice president of patient revenue. Here are four things to know about the new leader and Somnia.
1. In her new role, Ms. Allen will be responsible for overseeing all patient revenue and collections processes. She will also manage any external partnerships related to patient revenue collection.
2. Ms. Allen has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare administration. She has served in leadership positions with several healthcare firms and offered coding, revenue cycle management and compliance guidance.
3. Ms. Allen received Six Sigma Greenbelt training at the GE Healthcare Institute in Waukesha, Wis. "When adding key members of our team, we strive to find the best combination of experience, leadership qualities, critical thinking, and positive attitude. Diana was the clear choice among several worthy candidates," said Somnia CFO John Ansorge.
4. Somnia Anesthesia focuses on optimizing anesthesia services for healthcare facilities. The company is owned and managed by anesthesiologists.
