Johns Hopkins Medicine's Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., is constructing a $242 million inpatient tower, according to a Washington Business Journal report.
The eight-story tower will include 200 all-private inpatient rooms, an expanded emergency department, surgical facilities and 18 labor and delivery suites.
The tower will also include a floor dedicated to oncology with a 38-bay infusion unit. The medical oncology and radiation oncology section of the building will cost around $30 million to build, according to the report.
