Sentry Data Systems, a 340B management solutions provider, will acquire Algium Healthcare Intelligence in a move to expand and develop Sentry's financial analytics services.
The acquisition will enable Sentry to provide clients with enhanced visibility into the financial performance of their respective businesses, including service line costs, labor productivity and revenue realization.
"In Algium, we see a highly compatible organization with great potential to strengthen and augment our proprietary platform," said Sentry CEO and founder Travis Leonardi.
Sentry officials believe adding Algium's analytics solutions will help the company expand beyond pharmacies and into other healthcare enterprises.
Sentry currently serves more than 7,000 hospitals, clinics, integrated delivery networks and pharmacies nationwide.
