Boise, Idaho-based Saint Alphonsus Health System has announced it will build an $80 million hospital to replace a current facility in Nampa, Idaho.
The replacement hospital is planned as an expansion onto the current Saint Alphonsus Medical Center campus in Nampa. When completed, the campus will be 240,000 square feet and offer a total of 100-beds.
Features of the facility will include a diagnostic center, six-suite surgical operating theatre, pre- and post-operative holding and recovery rooms, a 10-bed short-stay observation unit, spacious and private patient rooms and an 18-bed intensive care unit.
The new hospital is slated to open by the summer of 2017. Services at the current medical center will remain fully operational until they can be transitioned into the new facility in 2017.
