Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore is planning to convert a former shopping center into a new healthcare center, costing between $6 million and $6.5 million, according to a Baltimore Business Journal report.
The 38,000-square-foot center will house a wide-array of medical specialties, including 20 primary care physicians, according to a hospital news release. It will also offer imaging, laboratory and physical therapy services. The center will emphasize the patient-centered medical home model of care.
The facility is slated to open by January 2015.
