S&P lowers Hunt Memorial Hospital District's bond rating

S&P has lowered its underlying rating on Greenville, Texas-based Hunt Memorial Hospital District's $4.6 million of series 1998 hospital variable-rate revenue bonds to "BBB+" from "A-."

The rating downgrade was based on the hospital district's reliance on tax receipts to support its operations and the district's balance sheet metrics that remain weaker than those of similarly rated credits.

Hunt Memorial Hospital District's outlook is stable.
