S&P Global Ratings has assigned an "A+" long-term rating to Salem (Ore.) Health's series 2016A bonds and affirmed the existing "A+" long-term and underlying ratings on Salem Health.
"The rating assignment and affirmation reflects maintenance of a very strong financial profile combined with a strong enterprise profile," said S&P analyst Martin Arrick. "The rating also reflects the sharp reduction in pro forma maximum annual debt service (MADS) and improved MADS coverage as a result of this refunding transaction."
The outlook is stable.
