Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has assigned an "A+" long-term rating to Aurora-based Children's Hospital of Colorado's $69.2 million of series 2016A bonds and $101.6 million of series 2016C bonds.
"The 'A+' rating reflects our view of Children's Colorado's excellent business position, continued healthy financial operations and high unrestricted reserves that we anticipate should continue to grow," said S&P credit analyst Suzie Desai.
The outlook is stable, reflecting S&P's view of Children's Hospital of Colorado's strong business position, historically growing volumes and solid operating and cash flow trends.
