S&P Global Ratings assigned an "A-" long-term rating to Great Falls, Mont.-based Benefis Health System's series 2016 bonds and affirmed the "A-" underlying rating on Benefis' series 2007 and 2011A bonds.
"The ratings reflect our view of Benefis' dominant business position, solid payer mix, sound cash flow and management team that has consistently beat operating targets and remains forward-looking with projections," said S&P analyst Brian Williamson.
The outlook is stable, reflecting S&P's view that Benefis will maintain if not improve balance its sheet metrics and keep its sound operating results.
