R1 launches revenue cycle offering focused on patient experience

R1 RCM revealed its new revenue cycle platform called Patient Experience.

The R1 PX solution aims to boost the patient experience through digital self-service capabilities, which in turn can improve health systems' business outcomes, according to a news release. The platform's capabilities include the ability for patients to manage their healthcare data and medical appointments on their own mobile devices, or on devices at physician offices and hospitals.

"We focus on solving our clients' key challenges across the revenue cycle. Many progressive organizations have put the patient and their experience at the center of that strategy," said Gary Long, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at R1. "After a thorough pilot showing demonstrable results supporting this endeavor we are excited to launch this integrated capability."
