Riverside Partners aligns 2 revenue cycle companies

Boston-based private equity firm Riverside Partners is aligning its revenue cycle companies, Bottom Line Systems and Medical Reimbursements of America.

The alignment will join the key leadership and corporate functions of the two companies.

BLS and MRA, which both offer specialty reimbursement solutions to hospitals, will maintain their names, as well as their separate client management and service delivery structures, according to a news release. BLS will continue to focus on underpayments and denials services, while MRA will continue offering solutions focused on motor vehicle accident and workers' compensation claims.

However, both companies will have the same leaders. S. Mark Talley, who has served as CEO of MRA for more than a year, was named CEO of both companies. S. Mark Talley has been named chief executive officer of both BLS and MRA.

Additionally, BLS founder and CEO, Bob Stevens, was chosen as executive chairman of the combined BLS and MRA organization, and BLS CFO Tom Kaylor was named CFO. BLS COO Matthew Considine will serve as COO.
